*****Further Reminder***** Attempted theft from Motor vehicles/Suspicious activity

We continue to receive reports of individuals acting suspiciously around motor vehicles during the night on the Brizlincote Estate and surrounding areas.

Whilst not all reports result in offences being identified, these incidents serve as a timely reminder for residents to take simple precautions to help protect their vehicles and property.

Please help reduce the opportunity for crime by:

Criminals often target vehicles they believe contain valuables or where opportunities exist to gain entry quickly and quietly. Taking a few moments to secure your vehicle and remove belongings can significantly reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.

Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, particularly persons seen checking vehicle door handles, looking into vehicles, or behaving unusually around parked cars, by calling 101 or reporting online. If a crime is in progress or there is an immediate threat to life or property, always call 999.
